概要†
Today the government launches an online discussion between web experts and the public on how to revamp .gov websites. The National Dialogue on Improving Federal Websites is part of the White House and General Service Administration’s Campaign to Cut Waste, an initiative to streamline how the government delivers information and services online. A .gov Task Force comprising Chief Information Officers, web managers, and other key personnel is overseeing the national web strategy for .gov websites—to reinvent them as more useful, robust, and frustration-free experiences for citizens.
This National Dialogue will inform the web strategy, which addresses an overarching question: “What practices, policies, and principles should guide Federal websites?”
